This soup rice place is so good! My friend and I ordered the chicken broth rice and it was super generous with the ingredients. It was cold and rainy that day, so it warmed us right up. The side dishes were fresh and really good quality too! The owner is famous for marinated raw dishes (my friend insisted), so we also tried the marinated shrimp, it was amazing! I don’t usually like raw food but I finished everything. It’s healthy, delicious, and super popular at lunchtime, there was even a line! Hope the owner adds more tables and chairs!

nothing better than a warm bowl of soupy comfort food in winter! The first time I tried to go at lunch it was fully booked for walk-ins, so I left. The second time I made a reservation for dinner — totally worth it. The marinated salmon was delicious, using a Chaoshan-style marinade that was super flavorful. I ordered the fish maw chicken soup set (comes with rice and a few small sides). The soup was rich, warm, and full of depth — perfect for a cold night. There was a whole chicken leg in the soup, and it seemed like they cooked it separately and added it at the end. I think the intention was to let diners enjoy tender, juicy chicken rather than overcooked scraps boiled in the soup. The leg was very tender, though the chicken and soup felt a bit separate. The braised pork belly rice with black truffle was huge — generously topped with big, soft, flavorful chunks of meat. Honestly, the pork could stand alone as a separate dish — it was that good. The black truffle sauce was poured over the rice and added great umami. The dish was super tasty, but since it’s fatty pork belly, it can get a bit heavy after a few bites. I’d recommend ordering it to share!

Absolutely loved this meal set! The presentation was beautiful and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared. The food was so comforting for winter! The small side dishes — especially the marinated eggs, broccoli, and potato salad — were fresh and flavorful, with just the right balance of seasoning. It’s rare to find a place that serves such wholesome, well-portioned food that still feels light yet satisfying. Even the fruit was fresh and sweet — a lovely touch at the end of the meal. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a clean, nourishing, and beautifully presented meal. Would definitely come back again!
